Built by People Who Have Been in Your Shoes
One Cannolai founder spent more than 25 years working inside associations.
Not just selling to associations.
Working in them.
Managing members.
Running events.
Supporting boards.
Trying to connect systems that were never designed to work together.
And one frustration kept coming up again and again: Association software rarely worked the way modern organizations actually operate.
It was clear associations needed something different. So Cannolai was created to build association technology designed from the inside out.
The HubSpot Problem No AMS Had Solved
Modern organizations rely heavily on platforms like HubSpot to manage marketing, communications, and member relationships.
But historically, Association Management Systems (AMS) were never built to work seamlessly with HubSpot.
Associations were forced to choose between:
- A powerful CRM and marketing automation platform like HubSpot
- Or a traditional AMS designed primarily for back-office operations
The two worlds rarely connected in a meaningful way.
That gap created friction for association teams trying to deliver modern digital experiences.
One of Cannolai’s founding principles was simple:
